	Approved Countywide Master Plan of Transportation	November 2009	Plan	Approved Countywide Master Plan of Transportation	The Approved Countywide Master Plan of Transportation updates the earlier Prince George's County Master Plan of Transportation, which was approved in 1982 and has since been updated by the transportation recommendations in 34 master and sector plans that have been adopted and approved since 1982. The plan was developed with the assistance of the citizens of Prince George's County; elected officials; and state, regional and local government agencies. The plan's goals, policies, and strategies seek to ensure an efficient multimodal transportation infrastructure in the county that accommodates the needs of all user groups.
