The approved plan amends portions of the 1994 Approved Master Plan and Sectional Map Amendment for Melwood-Westphalia (Planning Area 77 & 78), and the 2002 Prince George's County Approved General Plan. Developed with the assistance of several stakeholders, this document presents background, recommends a vision, and furthers the goals, policies, and strategies pertaining to land use, zoning, environment, parks and recreation, transportation, trails, public facilities, historic preservation, and urban design.
