Safe Summer Pledge

As part of Safe Summer, the Department of Parks and Recreation is challenging all Prince George’s County residents ages 12 - 24 to make a promise to stay safe this summer and keep the county safe for family, friends and neighbors.

Need motivation to stay safe this summer? Take the Safe Summer Pledge! If you do, you’ll be entered in a random drawing for great prizes!

Promise to do your part by taking the following pledge:

This summer I will:

Stay healthy, and respect myself and my community by not engaging in violent activities.
Stay away from drugs, alcohol or tobacco.
Respect my friends and neighbors, and help make Prince George’s County a better place to live.
Be Alert! Look Left, Look Right, and Look Left Again, When Crossing the Street. Earphones Off, Out, & Eyes Up!
