Safe Summer Pledge Contest

As part of Safe Summer, the Department of Parks and Recreation is challenging all Prince George’s County youth to make a promise to stay safe this summer and keep the county safe for family, friends and neighbors. Promise to do your part by taking the following pledge:

This summer I will:

  • Stay healthy, and respect myself and my community by not engaging in violent activities.
  • Stay away from drugs, alcohol or tobacco.
  • Respect my friends and neighbors, and help make Prince George’s County a better place to live.

From June 16 to August 11, any Prince George’s County resident ages 12-24 who signs or goes online to take our Safe Summer Pledge will be entered into a drawing for one of four AWESOME prizes: $150 Visa card. 

Winners’ names will be drawn on Monday, August 20, 2012. Winners will be contacted via email or phone.
