Holiday spirit hits Prince George
With the holidays swiftly approaching, community centers in Prince George’s County have numerous chances to get in the spirit with Xtreme Teens activities. From preparing for the holiday to skating on the ice, opportunities abound for teens to take advantage of winter fun.

At Temple Hills Community Center, Xtreme Teens recently took a trip to Watkins Park to view the Festival of Lights. This center has also hosted a shopping field trip and ice skating, and will host a holiday party.

“We’re trying to get exposure to all different kinds of activities,” said staff member at Temple Hills, Charmagne Flagg.

Other holiday-themed activities include Christmas karaoke at Baden Community Center, holiday scrapbooking at Rollingcrest-Chillum, ornament making at Glassmanor and gift wrapping while rapping at Good Luck. And these are just some of the options for holiday fun at community centers.
