Teen Cotillion Trip to see Step Afrika : Step Explosion
We ended Week 4 with our first trip. The Debs and Beaus had the opporuntunity to see Step Afrika: Step Explosion at the Strathmore in Bethesda, MD.

This year’s performance was dedicated and in honor of the history and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Performers of all ages shared in the history and culture that is Step, while also helping to excite and motivate the crowds. The teens even got to see a spectacular performance from Prince George’s Counties own Dem Raider Boys from Eleanor Roosevelt High School.

Overall the teens seemed to have really enjoyed the performance. They also seemed to appreciate the opportunity to talk with one another heading to and from the event. These bonds help the Debs and Beaus to be more connected with one another. It’s a pleasure to watch the teens bond with both one another and the staff as well.
