“The Power of She “

This past Friday, our Xtreme teen girls took part in an exciting program at Huntington Community Center. “The Power of She” was an all girl empowerment session that was developed with the purpose to foster the critical connections that will help young girls transition and grow into healthy, productive adults, and to fulfill their recreational needs. This event was definitely one to remember! The young poets shared amazing words of encouragement to their young peers and the portrait painted by our teen artist was simply breath taking.
