Safe Summer Kick Off

Booooom, we started Safe Summer off with a bang! Monday, June 23, 2014 was the first day of Safe Summer, 24 of our community centers in Prince Georges County have incredible activities for our youth to participate in. Glassmanor (one of our community centers in the south area) hosted a BLOCK PARTY catered by Chick- Fil- A. With great music to jump start the dance contest, which turned into a rap battle; while others participated in the laser tag and some skated through the parking lot thanks to the Skate Mobile. On the other end of the county, Bowie community center had a variety of activities as well; roller skating, playing the games that Games2U brought out, and getting their faces painted while watching movies on the projectors outside!
